Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Analyze market data to develop strategies for targeting potential clients in the private security sector.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients through cold calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Present and pitch our security services to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales agreements to maximize profits.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations and finance, to ensure seamless delivery of security services.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and results to senior management.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and stay informed about market developments.
  • Build a network of industry contacts to leverage for business opportunities.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the private security industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the private security industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to travel as required.
