Job Description

A Reputable Multinational Company

JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant shall assist the Head of Property to ensure corporate and regulatory compliance in the settlement of payment obligations, maintain and manage all company property leases and landlords plus the proper operational efficiency of all aspects of the Organisation’s offices, retail shops, cell sites and exchanges to create an optimal, safe, and cost-effective environment for the occupants to function optimally.

  • The role reports to the Head of Property.

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintains and manages the Lease Register for all leased and rented properties including landlord engagements on negotiation of renewals, new contracts, and operational performance/continuity
  • Scrutinizes all invoices for the works completed and recommends for payment.
  • In charge of proper record keeping & tracking of maintenance activities.
  • Co-ordinates repair and preventative maintenance works to ensure that contractors are on course and all works are completed on time.
  • Supervises all repair and maintenance works to ensure that they conform to Health and Safety Standards.

Required Skills or Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in Building Technology and Management, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, Land Economy with knowledge in Building Maintenance will be an added advantage.
  • Alternatively, a tertiary qualification in Estate Management/ Facilities Management with a minimum of 5 years in the Telecom or similar industry.
  • Good knowledge of I.T. Systems and Capabilities to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
