Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Driver to transport clients, staff, and goods in a safe and timely manner. This individual will also be in charge of our transportation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving, excellent knowledge of road safety regulations, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport clients, staff, and goods to and from specified locations.
• Maintain the vehicle in good working condition, performing regular checks and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary.
• Keep accurate records of travel times, distances, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing excellent customer service.
• Report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management immediately.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle’s interior and exterior.

Required Skills or Experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or logistics setting.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Excellent driving skills and a good sense of direction.
• Ability to operate GPS devices and mobile apps for navigation.
• Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and punctual with a commitment to providing excellent service.

 Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver and with HND and above educational qualification.
• Experience in maintaining and performing minor repairs on vehicles is an added advantage.

Additional Information

• The individual must be reliable and able to handle flexible working hours.
• Familiarity with local routes and destinations is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
