Job Description

EMTECH is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in driving the development and strategy of our cutting-edge financial products, from conception through launch and beyond. The ideal candidate is someone with a deep understanding of the fintech sector, particularly digital currencies and blockchain technology, and a proven track record in managing complex products that meet the needs of both central banks and their communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on the end-to-end management of product development, including ideation, specification, development, launch, and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure product alignment with market needs and company goals.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities and understand customer needs within the central banking and fintech sectors.
• Develop and maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, use cases, and requirements.
• Collect and translate business requirements into detailed technical documentation containing thorough acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with your immediate team (Designers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and other roles) to quickly, iteratively, and effectively turn good specifications into working products.
• Develop and track metrics to assess the success of products and features and determine necessary enhancements.
• Work closely with users and our Customer Success team to understand adoption, usage, and customer feedback to anticipate developing needs.
• Work with the Design team in the creation of product prototypes, wireframes, and mockups.
• Lead agile activities such as backlog grooming, feature prioritization and sprint planning.
• Communicate effectively with all internal teams and external stakeholders to set accurate expectations and proper timelines for product delivery.
• Demonstrate functionality of completed products to internal teams and other stakeholders.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within the fintech, financial services, or technology sectors.
• Experience with product documentation and tools (e.g Jira, Confluence, product analytics tools)
• Experience in researching, defining, and documenting complex business processes.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics for making assumptions and decisions.
• Excellent communication skills (including written, verbal, and interpersonal) with an ability to explain complex concepts across the organization
• Strong knowledge of digital currencies, blockchain technology, and the regulatory landscape affecting financial institutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and agile environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
