Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Nursery 1 to JHS 1 students.
  • Develop and implement a creative and dynamic curriculum that meets the educational needs of students.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through regular tests, assignments, and examinations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance teaching strategies and student support.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • A valid teaching certificate or license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with experience in early childhood and primary education.
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and dedicated to student success.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Proficient in using technology for teaching and learning.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
