Job Description

The Ghana Statistical service (GSS) invites applications from suitably qualified persons to collect data on selected establishments within the country. Successful applicants will work across the country as field officers during the phase II of the Integrated Business Establishment Survey (IBES) which is scheduled to start in October 2015.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of HND or Diploma in the following disciplines: Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration / Commerce, Mathematics, Development Studies, Sociology, Demography, and any other related disciplines

Other requirements:
The applicant should be:

• A Ghanaian
• Able to speak and write in the English language.
• Able to speak at least one Ghanaian language in the district in which he/she resides.
• Prepared to work within localities in the district where he/she resides

Experience: in surveys with a renowned research institution will be an added advantage
