Job Description

Summit Vision Microfinance Services Ltd (SVMF) is a Bank of Ghana Licensed Specialized Deposit Taking Microfinance Institution mandated to provide microfinance services to individuals and MSMEs in Ghana. The company has been operating from the Head Office in Kaneshie, Accra with satellite activities in some communities from Ashanti, Ahafo, Western North, Brong Ahafo, Bono East to the Upper West Regions since January 2011.

  • Specific Location: Kaneshie –Greater Accra Region.
  • Direct reports: Operations Manager
Purpose Of Position
To be responsible for accurately processing transactions, managing cash handling and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Job Summary
  • Receive Cash and Cheque Deposits and credit same to customer account.
  • Pay out withdrawals to savings, current and fixed deposit accounts.
  • Perform cash reconciliations and control activities such as scrutinizing of cheques and other Bank instruments.
  • To deliver quality service to customers

Required Skills or Experience

Skills, Qualification & Experience Required

  • BA, B.Sc., B. Com, Diploma or   HND in any discipline option plus at least 1 year working experience.
  • Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and microfinance industry practices on cashering duties
  • Analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong selling/persuasive skills
  • Good oral communication skills, strong spoken English and a good conversational ability in One (1) or more local languages
  • Cheerful and presentable
