Job Description

  • Reports to: Account Manager
  • Location: Tema, Community 25
Duties
  • Support the preparation of office budget by surveying and providing inputs into current prices.
  • Processing of MoMo payments in line with finance protocols.
  • Manage payment of office utilities.
  • Follow up on clients (monthly) Payments.
  • Support Accountant with processing cash payments (receipt & deposit) according to laid down guidelines.
  • Manage payments and filing of taxes including SSNIT Tier 1, Tier 2 and GRA.
  • Manage petty cash disbursement and reconciliation.
  • In charge of MoMo reconciliation.
  • Support the Account in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Run official banking errands for the Account department.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by Account Manager.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience as an Account Officer   
  • Must be analytical and have accounting skills.
  • Attention to details on all request for payments before disbursement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Must be organized, efficient and accurate at all times.
  • Must adhere to simple instructions.
  • Deloy all accounting principles and exhibit all accounting professional standards in all transactions. 
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
