Scope
The Data Analyst collects, analyzes, and interprets data to generate accurate and actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This includes ensuring data quality and integrity, developing analytical models and dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide timely, data-driven recommendations that enhance business performance:
- MA1: Develop, implement, and monitor data integrity standards, protocols, and policies specific to Company operations
- MA2: Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- MA3: Develop, maintain, and automate financial dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- MA4: Work closely with finance and accounting teams as well as cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integrity
- MA5: Guarantee a good and safe working environment in line with Company Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policy.
Required Skills or Experience
Education
- Minimum of First Degree in Data Analysis / Computer Science from an accredited University
- ICA ( Part 2) or ACCA Level 2/CMA/ CIMA
- Professional Qualification in Auditing is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years relevant and demonstrable working experience
Skills and Competence
- Advanced computer skills i.e., Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, PowerPoint and SAP ERP software.
- Self-confidence to take initiatives
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Very proactive, innovative and analytical
- Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work
- Technical Accounting Expertise and ability to analyse, organise, summarise and articulate complex financial information
- Attention to detail
- Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks
- Working Knowledge in French is an added advantage
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with data in ERP systems in agriculture or manufacturing firm (e.g., SAP, BISMAR…).
- Knowledge of agricultural operations and production workflows is a plus
- Strong understanding of data management principles and quality assurance methodologies.
