Job Description

Reports to: General Manager / CEO

Job Purpose

To manage all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures, while ensuring value for money and compliance with quality standards.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
Monitor project expenditures and keep within budget constraints.
Liaise with contractors, clients, and project managers to ensure accurate cost control.
Assist in tender preparation, evaluation, and contract negotiations.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify claims.
Prepare and submit valuation reports and final accounts.

Required Skills or Experience

Eduaction

Minimum qualification: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

Skills/Competencies

Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in cost estimation and budget management.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.

N:B: Must reside in Accra and be able to easily commute to and from Circle
