Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to teach IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject expertise, a proven ability to deliver engaging lessons, and a passion for helping students excel academically and deepen their faith.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics according to the Cambridge International curriculum.
• Prepare students for internal assessments, IGCSE exams, and A-Level examinations with a focus on academic rigor and problem-solving.
• Integrate Christian principles into teaching while encouraging a love for mathematics and analytical thinking.
• Develop lesson plans, assignments, and teaching materials that cater to a variety of learning styles.
• Provide academic support, mentoring, and encouragement to students of varying abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with other teachers to support cross-disciplinary learning and contribute to the school’s academic and spiritual mission.
• Participate actively in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree required).
• Teaching certification or an internationally recognized teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics at IGCSE and/or A-Level.
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge International Education assessment standards.
• Committed Christian with a heart for integrating faith and academic teaching.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire students to achieve excellence in Mathematics.
