Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated IGCSE & A-Level Business Studies Teacher. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a strong understanding of business concepts, decision-making, entrepreneurship, and the global economic environment, while preparing them for success in Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Business Studies examinations through the lens of a Christian worldview.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum for IGCSE and A-Level.
• Integrate biblical principles into teaching to foster both academic and spiritual growth.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials that promote inquiry-based learning and business analysis.
• Encourage students to critically evaluate case studies, real-world business practices, and the ethical implications of decision-making.
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular projects and contribute to the broader school community.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and development.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching certification or qualification recognized internationally.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A-Level Business Studies within the Cambridge International curriculum.
• Strong subject knowledge in business concepts, entrepreneurship, and global business issues.
• Committed Christian with a passion for integrating faith and learning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire students to pursue excellence in Business Studies.
