Job Description

Our client, a reputable construction firm is seeking to hire a dynamic PAVEMENT ENGINEER with a proven record to support their operations in Ghana.

ROLE PROFILE

Selected candidate will support the firm by providing oversight and pavement designing knowledge to all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring all work is completed to the required professional standards, within the required timeframes and within expected budget parameters

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the Contractor’s compliance with material specifications and testing
• Provide input to the design team to source suitable materials
• Coordinate with and rely on field inspectors who perform hands-on verification testing and inspection of flexible pavement and related systems
• Perform research and analyze quality-based data in order to support technical recommendations.
• Responsible for completing pavement management field surveys, analyze pavement management data, interpret pavement materials quality and process control data.
• Develop plans, specifications and cost estimates for pavement design projects
• Provide an exceptional level of customized pavement engineering design consultation.

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or other related field required
• NVTI Certification is a plus
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in construction or mechanical engineering
