Job Description

• Department: Technical
• Reports To: Maintenance Superintendant
• Location: Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E/R.

• Follow the company’s Health and Safety Procedures to achieve set targets always.
• Design, maintain, implement, and improve electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial purposes.
• Confer with engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
• Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings.
• Establish construction, manufacturing or installation standards by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
• Write reports and compile data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Supervise and train project team members.
• Maintain electrical equipment.
• Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
• Work with a variety of technicians to meet departmental targets.
• Perform a wide range of engineering tasks per the daily demands of internal clients.

Required Skills or Experience

• Minimum of HND, Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Practical knowledge/experience in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of two years relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
