Scope
Involves maintenance and control of all installations, plants, repair and upkeep of all machines and mechanical systems at the rubber factory.

Main Accountabilities

• Ensure effective planning and execution of preventive maintenance for the generators. 
• Maintain good records of these Equipment.

• Ensure an effective preventive maintenance for all electrical installations. 
• Properly designing and continuously improving electrical gadgets/installations for efficient performance; 
• Help to ensure the availability of high - quality spare parts. 
• Guarantee root cause analysis is made for all recurring electrical breakdowns.

• Ensure that all risky installations are properly protected/insulated to avoid contact; 
• Ensure the use of the appropriate PPEs by team members. 
• Ensure that your team members are trained to execute their job efficiently and safely

• Give appropriate rewards and administering appropriate sanctions;
• Coach and mentor team members; 
• Involve team members in decision making; 
• Make recommendation s regarding recruitment, discipline and promotions

• Continuously reviewing and improving lighting systems.

• Applies the Branch's HSEQ policy and objectives by providing the means necessary for them, and makes sure that others apply them also. 
• Makes the necessary measures to minimize risks jeopardizing Quality, Safety and the Environment. 
• Applies the regulations, customer - group requirements and the HSEQ system within the company and makes sure that others apply them. 
• Gets involved in the HSEQ system by leading discussion groups, participating in accident or near - accident analyses, and performing audits as the case maybe. 
• Proposes and carries out improvement actions and corrective and/or preventive actions.

Required Skills or Experience

Education

• BSC Electrical Engineering.

Experience 

•    Minimum of 3-years relevant working experience in a similar post.
