A trusted ICT and Telecommunications Company in Ghana is looking for Unit Head, Infrastructure for immediate employment

Job Purpose

• Responsible for implementing network designs, evaluate networks as well as provide technical support for our Microwave and Fibre Infrastructure and users.
• Ensure business processes and standards are maintained and lived on all task and working within timeliness committed to clients or earlier on all issues, ensuring reliable and efficient network solution to our clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Design LTE, Radio and Fibre networks (at both Backbone and Access Levels) independently and in a team
• Installation and maintenance of Fiber, Radio and LTE Network nationwide
• Configured, support and resolve LTE, Radio and fibre network elements at all sites and end-user locations
• Analyze network report and provide recommendations
• Coordinate troubleshooting of issues between your team
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors for flawless execution of projects
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documents
• Implement process workflow in your unit
• Supervise your team on regulatory and compliance matters relating to your day-to- day tasks in your allocated zones. These include the NCA, Road Authorities, EPA etc.
• Recommend innovative business and technical solutions to improve operational effectiveness

Required Skills or Experience

• Master’s degree in Telecommunication/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PE, PMP, etc.) are a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure management, preferably in enterprise networking or telecommunications space
• A proactive approach in to solving complex technical challenges
• Familiarity with enterprise networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and data centers
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle high-priority network issues
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with engineers and other stakeholders
