Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Specialist to join our dynamic professional services firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web-based solutions, supporting software applications, and ensuring the seamless integration of technology across operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to support both internal teams and client-facing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Web Development

Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
Collaborate with consultants and designers to translate business requirements into functional web solutions.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and data privacy regulations.
Software Applications
Support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of enterprise software tools (e.g., CRM, ERP, project management platforms).
Develop custom scripts, plugins, or integrations to enhance software functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues across departments.
Evaluate and recommend new software solutions to improve operational efficiency.

IT Support & Infrastructure

Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist in managing cloud services, data backups, and cybersecurity protocols.
Document IT procedures, workflows, and system configurations.

Required Skills or Experience

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in web development and software application support.
Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular,).
Backend development experience with languages such as Python, PHP, or Node.js.
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and database systems
Experience with APIs, RESTful services, and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps tools is a plus.
