Job Description

• Presentation of cheques from Customers to the bank for clearing.
• Confirming bank repayment statements.
• Getting Credit sales documents signed by assigned signatories and keeping them archived.
• Communicating with company branches concerning payments by Customers.
• Assisting with purchase order processing.
• Entering of truck sales information on Tally ERP/U8 System.
• Capture sales invoices correctly in the Tally ERP System into the correct customer account on the receivable ledger
• In charge of the management of the local accounts payable by ensuring invoices are received on time and promptly entered into the Tally ERP System.
• And any other duty that may be assigned by Supervisor/Manager from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

• HND/Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years working experience.
• A student/member of ICA or ACCA is an added advantage.
• An analytical approach to work with high numeracy and sound technical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
• High sense of purpose and integrity
• Ability to work in a high pressure job demand industry
• Ability to work in team
• Respect for authority
• Excellent knowledge in Ms Office suit especially in Excel
