Job Description Studies over the years have revealed that there are increasing number of children migrating to the Regional Capitals and Accra in search of greener pastures. Most of them end up becoming vulnerable street children who engage in menial work for survival. In other to help address this unfortunate phenomena, there is the need for government and NGOs to focus on interventions that will help prevent the children from ending up on the streets of our Regional and National Capitals. It is in this light that CFC has opened two new centers in Kumasi and Tamale to help address the issue of increasing rate of children on the streets. The main goal of the centers are to work with potential street connected children between 6 to 17 years and their families in other to prevent the children from ending up on the streets.
