Job Description

Loans Officer to work on the credit and loans team. The Officer will be responsible for marketing and sales of the company's products and services. His/her mandate will be to increase the client base of the company. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and has basic financial literacy.

• Presenting and discussing various product options based on assessments of prospective client lifestyles, needs, and goals
• Marketing new sales and special events
• Increasing personal knowledge of products, and sales techniques through continuous training and development
• Strategically growing our client database by identifying credible clients within the market
• Initiate a steady volume calls to clients to identify and connect with key clients
• Tracking account information and maintaining relevant records for submission weekly and monthly

Required Skills or Experience

• University Degree or diploma (not mandatory)
• Interest in the Financial Industry
• Previous Sales or Marketing Experience
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Ability to effectively communicate key information to clients
• Exceptional organizational ability
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications considered an asset
• Computer proficiency considered an asset
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including Saturday considered an asset
