Job Description

• Processing and submitting of private insurance and National Health Insurance claims by 1^st week of ensuing month
• Ensure diagnosis are written with correlating prices stated on claim forms accurately.
• Scrutinise for overbilling on claim forms
• Update service centers on updates by corporate organisations and insurance companies
• Advise management on claims and update Head of Finance regularly.
• Ensure zero deductions on claims submitted
• Periodic submission of reports to management
• Recovery of debts from private insurances and corporate organisations
• Ensure efficient collection and utilization of data for informed management decisions
• Contribute to planning and formulation of hospital’s policies
• Strong leadership in the management of claims
• Ensure a follow up call is conducted to ensure customer satisfaction when need arises
• Strategise and advise management on claims
• Monitoring and evaluating KPIs for each team member on periodic basis
• Responsible for training team members on claims and other claims related topics
• Supervise the creation of files necessary for claims
• Responsible for all claims unit correspondences
• Recommend with justifications subject to approval of finance, operations and management.
• Implement visible initiative to improve efficient and effective service delivery.

Required Skills or Experience

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
