JOB SUMMARY
The Unit Head for Learning and Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with business goals.
- Identify training needs and design effective programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and leadership initiatives.
- Oversee the administration of learning platforms, driving utilization and implementation of learning actions.
- Coordinate corporate induction and traineeship programs, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Manage the learning and development budget, optimizing resources for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with department heads to align training initiatives with organizational needs.
- Research industry trends, emerging methodologies, and relevant areas to provide strategic insights.
- Support training needs assessments, surveys, feedback collection, and post-training impact evaluations.
- Facilitate in-house training sessions and assist in developing policies, frameworks, and procedures.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute training programs.
- Develop predictive analyses for Life Planners based on internal and industry data.
- Research and modernized the business learning and development to meet the changing learning styles

Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- Must have started or successfully completed a recognized Professional certification in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Human Resource.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs.
- Strong leadership and project management skills to oversee training initiatives.
- Experience in managing learning platforms and digital training solutions
- Ability to align learning programs with business goals.
- Expertise in developing engaging and effective training content.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and external partners.
- Proficiency in evaluating training effectiveness and impact.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
