Job Description

  • To manage the Company’s Broker Strategy to achieve its targets
  • Implementing and adhering to the Sales, Marketing and Broker Relations strategies, procedures, policies and standards for Broker Marketing
  • To manage, motivate and direct the Broker Marketing team to achieve corporate objectives/targets and achieve overall success.
  • Develop and manage Broker Communication and Relationship Brand Equity Strategies to strongly position the Company Brand in Ghana
  • Analyze broker distribution channel on consistent basis and develop strategies for achieving sales targets
  • Develop tools to consistently evaluate the performance of the broker team
  • Manage the business renewal/retention process for all Brokers
  • Consistent performance management of team’s actual performance against targets/objectives/strategies
  • Develop structures and systems for the team to ensure consistent interaction and communication in the team and in relation to other departments
  • Identify and develop new Brokers to achieve set targets
  • Track production of the brokers per the agreed budget projections and duly submit weekly and monthly reports accordingly
  • Manage all activities relating to Broker Sales, Client Relations, and promotion strategy
  • Coordinate the accurate and timely payment of broker commissions and any business-related incentives

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Broker Relations Management
  • First degree from a recognized University is a requirement.
  • Professional certification in Insurance is a requirement
  • Proven success in sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
  • Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’
  • Strong client management skills
