Job Description

HHS is looking to engage the services of an experienced, results-oriented and highly motivated individual as French Facilitator in their JHS and Primary departments. 

The French Facilitator is directly responsible to the Headteacher and ultimately to the CEO.

Duties/Responsibilities

The French Teacher (Facilitator) shall:

• Promote and safeguard welfare of pupils and staff; 
• Ensure improvement in teaching, learning and implementation of French curriculum; 
• Ensure the achievement of excellent academic (oral and written) standards in assigned subject areas; 
• Promote school discipline 

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications/Experience
The Candidate seeking appointment to this position must: 

• Be a professional teacher, with a diploma or degree in French Education 
• Have taught in a Primary and/or JHS for a minimum of 2-3 years with a proven track record of achieving excellent BECE results in French in the schools they taught 
• Be computer literate, adept in Microsoft suite (particularly Word and EXCEL) 
• Have the experience and flair for maintaining a French Club as part of extracurricular activities
