Job Description

The Community Foundation Coordinator position involves managing and supporting the operations of Community Foundations in the towns listed below. The coordinator’s work will involve identifying and establishing working groups, undertaking growth activities, fundraising, grant administration, public relations, and community engagement. The coordinator will work to advance the foundation's mission and goals by coordinating activities, managing programs, and building relationships with stakeholders in and around the Community.
 
 Core Responsibilities 
 
  •  Fundraising and Development: 
  • Coordinating and expanding fundraising initiatives, managing donor databases, and tracking financial performance. 
  •  Stakeholder Relations 
  • Maintaining relationships with all stakeholders, traditional leaders, donors, cultivating new donors, and ensuring effective communication. 
  •  Program Management 
  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that provide important community services. 
  • Community Engagement 
  • Building relationships with community partners, facilitating communication, and promoting the foundation's work. 
  • Administrative Support 
  • Provide administrative support to the foundation's board and staff, including preparing materials, managing communications, and coordinating events. 
  •  Compliance 
  • Ensuring compliance with state requirements, organizational policies and procedures. 

Required Skills or Experience

  • Strong organizational and project management skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, community members, and staff. 
  • Experience in fundraising and development: Knowledge of fundraising techniques, donor management, and grant writing. 
  • Commitment to the mission of the community foundation: A passion for community development and a desire to make a positive impact. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

G. HO Regional CF Coordinating Office, Ho, Volta Region.

The position is non-paid but would be stipend based on performance. Applicants must ensure they live in the community or in its immediate surrounding communities.
