Job Description

Overview

Our client is a company that is on a passionate mission to revolutionize Agriculture, especially the Livestock Industry in Africa, through innovative technologies, solutions, and practical training for farmers. The company owns and manages its own livestock farms. Our client is looking for a dedicated Farm Manager with an HR background to support their team in optimizing agricultural operations and ensuring the highest standards of Farm and Human Resource management.

Role Summary
The Ideal candidate will act as Farm and HR Manager.  You will be responsible for the overall management of the farm, managing farm equipment, overall budget activities, on-field staff and administrative duties. The candidate will also provide both technical and practical assistance regarding farm management and make appropriate business decisions.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • Must have an HR background.
  • 3+ years of experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
  • Strong understanding of crop production cycles and sustainable agriculture practices.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work effectively under pressure.
  • Passion for sustainable agriculture and commitment to environmental stewardship
  • Must live in and around Achimota.
  • Age Range: 35 to 45 years.
