Job Description

MSI Ghana has vacancies for passion driven, well-organised, client-oriented and energetic individuals with the below relevant qualification/s and experience in Accra. MSI Ghana’s goal is to meet the needs of the underserved and improve access to the use of Family Planning (FP) and other Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) services. The Sales Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve condom sales targets, monitoring performance, and identifying growth opportunities. They will work closely with distributors, retailers, and field teams to expand market reach, support product promotion, and provide market insights to guide sales and marketing efforts of condom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategies to Drive Sales and Distribution of Condoms and Reporting
  • Develop strategies to be able to exceed a target of 1.5 million condoms in 2025.
  • Lead the implementation and roll out of the strategies with existing team.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Monitor activities related to condom sales to ensure that their implementation will lead to meeting the target sales volumes of the product.
  • Review monthly sales of condoms against targets and correct any variances to ensure that year to date performance is on target at the end of every quarter.
  • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, recommend and lead market interventions that will improve sales further.
  • Review stock holding of condoms periodically and indicate to immediate report when a reorder of stocks is due.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Monthly Activity Report.
  • Monthly and quarterly sales performance report.
  • Monthly stocks report.

Required Skills or Experience

About You To succeed in this role, you must have:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • Proven / verifiable experience in sales of condoms.
  • Sales skills
  • Experience and knowledge of the private pharmaceutical market and working regulated pharmaceutical products.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Number literate and analytical; excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to work on own initiative and at longer periods
  • Customer focused with good interpersonal skills able to engage with people at all levels
  • A prochoice individual who is passionate about maternal health
  • Motivates team members to deliver high quality service and results, and is able to give constructive/ honest feedback
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
