Job Description

We are seeking a talented and culturally-aware Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This position is available as both a full-time role and an internship opportunity.

The successful candidate will be:

• Responsible for creating visually compelling and culturally appropriate design elements for our mobile health platform and female health product brand, with a focus on enhancing user engagement and creating a distinctly digital experience.
• An applicant with website development skills will be a prime candidate for the position.

Required Skills or Experience

Technical

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in digital product design, website development
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Experience designing for diverse audiences
• Knowledge of accessibility standards in design
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Experience with animation and motion design
• Knowledge of design systems and component libraries
• Understanding of the cultural context of Ghana and West Africa
• Experience collaborating with development teams

Internship Position

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Basic proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Growing portfolio demonstrating visual design skills
• Understanding of UI/UX design fundamentals
• Eagerness to learn about healthcare and brand design
• Familiarity with Ghanaian visual culture and aesthetics
• Strong visual communication skills and attention to detail
