Job Description

Location: Mankessim, Central Region

A Residence

JOB PURPOSE

The successful candidate shall be responsible for kitchen operations which includes food preparation, cooking and presentation. This role also includes Food and Accommodation.

ROLE SPECIFIC

Prepares and puts together ingredients for dishes.
Prepares and cooks all food items to the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation according to recipes.
Selects and purchases fresh, high – quality ingredients for meals and ensure meals are prepared and served in a safe and hygienic manner.
Maintains an organized and clean kitchen area.
Keeps accurate records of meal plans, ingredient lists and nutrition information.
Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Superior.

Required Skills or Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

At least high school graduate or equivalent required.
At least 3 years of experience in cooking and preparing meals.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients.

PERSON SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT

Must have good communication skills and ability to work with others.
Must have good organizational skills.
Must be a good cook.
Must have high level of integrity and ability to work under pressure.
Attention to detail.
