Job Description

  • Location: Central, Volta, Bono, Ashanti, Northern & Upper West Regions

The Hub Manager will be responsible for managing the overall day-to-day operations of all project activities in an assigned region by managing daily activities, leading staff and ensuring efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with key stakeholders including local authorities and community members.
  • Supervise and coordinate field operations and activities including, recruitment and selection of Community Health Volunteers (CHVs), supervision & resupplies of products to CHVs, demand generation & outreaches and training programs.
  • Participate and support facilitation of the training of CHVs
  • Supervise, train and assess the performance of the regional hub staff members and CHVs
  • Manage daily activities such as receiving, storing and dispatching of products to CHVs.
  • Monitor and manage inventory flow, optimize throughput and ensure timely dispatches.
  • Track key performance indicators for the project and staff, taking actions to meet targets.
  • Ensure compliance with organization and project policies, guidelines/protocols, plans and timelines.
  • Collect and analyze field data to report project progress.
  • Prepare and present reports on field activities and findings.
  • Prepare and support project audit processes
  • Enforce health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Address and resolve issues that may arise in the regional hub and any other duties that may be assigned to you.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various field conditions.
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, QuickBooks software, DHMIS  
  • Experience in field operations or project management
