Job Description

• Develop and implement the organization’s credit risk management framework, policies, and procedures in line with BoG regulations.
• Establish and enforce prudent credit approval and risk assessment processes.
• Ensure effective loan appraisals, analysis, and approval processes are in place.
• Monitor the performance of the loan book to ensure profitability, sustainability, and compliance.
• Oversee loan performance monitoring, repayments, and delinquency management
• Ensure compliance with BoG prudential guidelines, AML/CFT regulations, and all applicable laws.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• At least 6–8 years’ progressive experience in credit management, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within a financial institution.
• Demonstrated experience in credit risk management, collections, loan recovery, and regulatory compliance.
