• Provide the business with clear financial direction
• Champion business performance management mechanisms that identify key business issues, provide performance information and also ensure that budget accountability exists. 
• Ensure that the function provides analysis and information to make excellent commercial decisions and maximise opportunities. 
• Establish the finance team in new roles and responsibilities. Inspire and motivate individual to achieve at the high level. 
• Further develop leadership capabilities within the team. 
• Build and maintain robust cross-functional relationships with all key stakeholders both internally and local external
• High energy to achieve multiple deliveries
• Commercially astute – Cross functionally.
• Analytical and understands financial business linkages. 
• Provides strong functional leadership. 
• Deliver Performance - Has sense of urgency and commitment. Is able to manage detail while also driving the broader strategic agenda 

This role is based in Accra but will require frequent travel domestically and periodically elsewhere within Ghana as well as meetings in overseas as needed

Required Skills or Experience

• Female preferred
• CA; CIMA; ACCA or equivalent professional qualification 
• A proven track record of building and leading high performing teams and achievement of stretching goals with at least 10 years experience at regional or senior management level in a blue chip leading edge finance / commercial environment 
• An in depth knowledge of the Finance Function disciplines and people development 
• Strong leadership of cross functional teams 
• Willing to travel
