Job Description

Trade has significant traction working with maize and is looking forward to grow to other commodity markets in Ghana. Trade is looking for someone who is confident, persuasive, proactive, self-motivated, and communicates clearly in both English and Twi to occupy a position in our sales team as a Sales Representative

THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Finding new buyers in Kumasi and its surrounding towns.
  • Presenting the company's product to prospective buyers along with our agreement contract and terms of payment.
  • Recording relevant information of buyers (name, cellphone number, location, weekly/monthly consumption).
  • Assisting new and prospective buyers install the Trade Buyer app on their phones.
  • Making visits to delinquent buyers in Kumasi
  • Reporting daily to Trade’s offices in Tamale regarding all visits and new orders

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND holders in marketing will be preferred
  • Strong presentation and customer service skills
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in Marketing
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales target
  • Should possess strong interest in working for a startup
  • Should possess strong interest in working in a fast-paced, dynamic and multicultural environment
  • Should be a self-starter, able to manage time, organise and prioritise workload
  • Must be comfortable using computer devices such as an iPad
  • Ability to ride a motor bike is an advantage
