Job Description

• Develop, implement and monitor all Communication and Media Plans 
• Support the packaging and dissemination of information through appropriate channels
• Lead in the preparation and dissemination of information and craft messages
• Support in  developing and issuing briefs 
• Facilitate all engagements with the mass media
• Identify and develop appropriate communication channels to keep all stakeholders informed
• Promote effective and regular dialogue amongst all the stakeholders 

Required Skills or Experience

• Female preferred
• A minimum of first degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience with commensurate responsibility (preferably with a mining company).
• Familiarity with and ability to use modern versions of multimedia gadgets such as cameras and equipment used for videos and documentaries
• Strong (report) writing and public presentation skills
• Fluency in English and a minimum of 2 local dialects preferably those spoken.
