Purpose
To perform installation and maintenance activities

Duties

• Undertakes day to day installation and maintenance activities 
• Installs devices or components on Mast
• Undertakes troubleshooting of faulty components installed at client sites
• Replaces faulty components on the Mast
• Assists the Team Leader in undertaking site surveys by checking line of site
• Lays Cables from the Mast to clients’ server room
• Assists the Network Operations Department to bring up radio sites that are down
• Undertakes maintenance related tasks both on  periodic and on preventive basis

Required Skills or Experience

• Diploma or Professional certificate in related Field
• Training in Fall Arrest
• 2 years’ experience as a Rigger
• Technical Competencies:
• Knowledge and understanding of Radio and VSAT Installations
• Knowledge of WAN and LAN Installation
