Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Spintex, Accra, Ghana
Reporting to: Plant Engineer

Job Responsibilities
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB: 
Planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities of engineering department 
Prepare maintenance plan for preventive, corrective, predictive and condition -based 
Oversee daily set up of machinery and equipment prior to production for efficient and effective production
Responsible for troubleshooting all electrical and mechanical fault, repair, install, and maintain machinery and process equipment in good process
Maintain routine records and prepare reports to the Plant Engineer
Supports and completes preventive and planned maintenance of electrical/mechanical equipment including but not limited to; cleaning, inspection, setup, diagnosing, replacement, testing, and continues improvement of production line
Identifies and report the need for major repairs to Plant Engineer
Assist with the installation of new equipment and enhancing equipment through continuous improvement and upgrade
Monitor packaging line efficiency and update management in time of malfunction 
Determine maintenance needs of facility equipment, arrange for storage of materials and equipment used in work, 
Work efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of safety, quality and reliability 

Required Skills or Experience

• Min; HND Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. BSc. In Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a Plus
• A member of GHIE is a plus with good standing
• Experience:  At least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
