Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company is looking to hire a project manager to help manage its operations in Ghana.


The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget, plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.


  • Budgeting sales figures as per customer's base to achieve required business share and gross margins.
  • Preparing route plan to ensure effective use of time to deliver sales and gross margin budgets.
  • Identifying a list of available customers in the assigned territory by referencing, gathering information through regular market visits to shortlist and select customers having business potential.
  • Focusing on the customer having high potential for business by providing a range of products and details about our products and company through presentation and product catalogues to achieve value, volume and gross margin for the company from these Customers.
  • Developing Key accounts by selecting high potential customers, specifying the right products and delivering high-quality products at the right price.
  • Handling Existing Key accounts by maintaining relationships, servicing the requirements on time to retain and ensure continuation flow business.
  • To get on-time support from different departments and segments within the company by close coordination to increase sales for the company.
  • Ensuring training of contractor and aligning technical department for site visits by organizing contractors training and coordinating with technical department and customer to ensure delivery of right quality of product and application at sites.
  • Ensuring timely collection payment to keep control of POS as per agreed terms within the company policy.
  • Supervising the works of the salesman, allocating the sales assignment and arranging the daily works of a salesman.
  • Surveying the business information of competitors, Collecting and filing the information of real estate in constructing.
  • Visiting project designers, developers, tiling workers and plumbers to collect potential customer information.

Required Skills or Experience


  • Master’s degree in computer science or any other field.
  • 3-5 years of building material sales experience.
  • Job qualification in any other related field.


  • Could work on Saturday and travel.
  • Must be between the ages of 28 to 35.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Strategic thinker.
