Job Description

• Develops skills and Conduct vulnerabilities and penetrations testing
• Conducts Gap Analysis  and Risk assessments after training has been given
• Leads/participates in the investigation and validation of identified security incidents 
• Assists in the response and resolution of security incidents 
• Researches, builds and maintains an internal database on threat intelligence and vulnerabilities to aid in the analysis, resolution, remediation and reference of security incidents
• Creates and maintains a number of Design documentation, including processes, and procedures before and after the implementation cyber security project.
• Works with other departments / Clients on Cyber Security issues
• Communicates technical issues to non-technical personnel
• Generates and compiles periodic and situational reports on security incidents for management, clients and other stakeholders. 
• Facilitates training at the end of cyber security project.

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Security,  Electrical Engineering or related Degree OR  Extensive working knowledge + certifications in Lieu of Degree.
• Must have IT/Cyber Security Fundamentals, experience in the administration of Windows and Linux OS’s, and general databases knowledge, as well as general networking knowledge.
• Desirable certifications like MCSA, CCNA, Linux+, Security+, CySA+,CISA, CISM, CEH, CHFI, CISSP, etc. 

TECHNICAL

Mandatory:​

• Good working knowledge of basic mathematics
• Good working knowledge of networking, TCP/IP and common services (like HTTP, SSH)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and a desire to tackle complex problems
• Strong written ; verbal communication skills
• Meets deadlines, deal with task responsibly and take ownership 

Optional:

• Working knowledge of OWASP TOP 10, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001
• Able to communicate technical issues to non-technical personnel
• Ability to exploit recognized vulnerabilities
• Familiar with Kali Linux and assessment tools (Nmap, Metasploit, and DirBuster etc.)
• Familiar with setting up configuring virtual environments (VMware)

MANAGERIAL

• Ability to plan, coordinate and follow up on work activities
• Ability to work close with people at all levels
• Ability to pay attention to details and execute assignment in strict timelines
