OVERVIEW
A reputable resort is looking to employ a Lead Culinary Instructor to work with.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Execute all responsibilities of a Chef Instructor
• Serve as proxy for the Executive Chef when duty requires
• Assist with scheduling of instructors and provide coverage for instructor absences or requested time off
• Assist Executive Chef in performing kitchen observations and providing instructor feedback/coaching
• Assist Executive Chef in completing kitchen performance evaluations
• Play a key role in the orientation process of new cooks/chefs toward understanding of teaching methods, processes, and policies.
• Retention – Assist with the resorts’ retention initiatives by identifying “at risk” employee and relaying this information to the Executive Chef and/or individual directly responsible for employee retention
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of a Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field
• 5 years of industry work experience directly related to culinary arts.
• 2 years of supervisory role experience in the same industry/field
