Job Description

Our client, a Major Industry Player in the Printing and IT Equipment Distribution Sector is seeking a matured and experienced SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE for immediate employment.

JOB PURPOSE
To market and sell range of IT Products including Printers & Photocopiers, Laptops, VOIP devices and ensure sales targets are met and on time.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports to the Sales Manager and the office of the Managing Director
  • Present, promote and sell a range of products; mostly IT equipment to existing and prospective customers by using solid arguments
  • Responsible to achieve revenue/profit plan
  • Identify customer requirements, determine best solution, present proposal, while ensuring customer concurrence throughout the entire implementation process.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs
  • Conduct sales calls, demonstrations, presentations and maintain prospect activity into sale into sales cycle tracking processes.
  • Submit report on daily activities and visits to Supervisor
  • Submit an accurate forecast monthly report (above 75% accuracy)
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
  • Achieve sales targets within schedule
  • Analyse market potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Previous Experience in selling VOIP devices, system integration, Document Management systems and other IT devices will be an added advantage

SALARY:
GHS 3,000.00 to GHS 6,000.00 based on qualification and experience

Required Skills or Experience

  • A minimum of First Degree in Information Technology, Information Technology Engineering, Marketing, Computer Systems Engineering with at least Seven (7) years working experience.
  • Masters in Information Technology, Information Technology Engineering, Marketing, Computer Systems Engineering with at least four (4) years working experience
  • Industry experience is an added advantage
  • Must be career-oriented and willing to grow with the company
  • Must have great presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office suite
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication, written and negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • A good team player and quick learner
  • Knowledge in public procurement will be an advantage
