Job Description

JMA Engineering Ltd, a specialist Site Engineering & Surveying company based in London and operating throughout the UK, are looking to employ suitably qualified and experienced Survey Technicians.

Tasks will include:

• Land/Engineering Surveying
• Topographical Surveys
• Setting-out for varied works to include highways, railway, District heating, RC frames etc
• QA checks & As-built record keeping for the above
• Most design information will be present in digital format so the ability to transfer data from CAD drawings to a Total Station is necessary.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure they are followed correctly
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site

Required Skills or Experience

• The candidate will be able work individually and as part of a team. You will be self-motivated and driven to hit targets set weekly. You should be proficient in the use of Robotic Total station preferably Leica or Trimble, Survey processing software, a working understanding of Autocad.
• Ideally you will have 3 years’ experience of setting out and carrying out surveys on site, processing surveys for agreement with our client base.
• You will be required to co-ordinate and oversee complaince testing on sites.
• The candidate should also be willing to relocate to the UK.
