Job Description

Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the Kitchen.
  • Run kitchen efficiently and create appetizing dishes that will satisfy all customers
  • Monitor food production, portions and food presentation.
  • Develop and review menu and must have the ability to prepare uniform dishes
  • Ensuring standard portions, quality dishes and  ensure inventory control 
  • Supervises, assigns work and trains staff 
  • Cost control – manage expenses, reviewing transactions and monitoring budgets.
  • Ensure that company policies are implement objectively and successfully.   
  • Responsible for setting goals and holding team accountable.  
  • Safeguard and maintain the assets of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned by the senior management.

Required Skills or Experience

Experience
  • Must 10 years practical experience in the Hospitality Industry.
 
Qualifications 
  • HND or Bachelor degree
  • Diploma in professional cookery or Culinary art or Bachelor’s degree
  • Leadership and communication skills and an ability to accept criticism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
  • Must be results oriented and trustworthy and knowledgeable in the Hospitality industry
