Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Managing outbound and incoming calls within the service level agreement (SLA)
  • Responding in a timely manner to client emails, internal and external
  • Negotiate settlements to receive payment on a certain percentage on a debt.
  • Preventing repeated payment delinquency by negotiating manageable debt payments.
  • Identify and escalate issues to relevant departments.
  • Handle customer complaints and providing solutions.
  • Follow up customer calls where necessary.
  • Adhering to processes and procedures pertaining to your role and daily functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Grade 12
  • Minimum of 2 years to 5 years collection experience
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Banking profile experience
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly assertive individual that is target driven.
  • MS Excel basic
  • Dialler experience
  • Self-motivated and self-driven
  • Excellent verbal command of the English Language (Fluent)
  • Strong understand of the debt collection process and techniques.
  • Time management.
