Core Duties:

The responsibilities of the Patrol Supervisor include the following but not limited to:

1.  Responsible for the conduct and performance of all guards and the safe condition of equipment and vehicles during your tour of duty.
2.  Prepare both verbal and written briefing for the incoming supervisor at the end of your shift.
3. Ensure that all employees under you report promptly to work in the authorized Epsilon Security Services uniform.
4. Correct lapses in security where possible and draw the client’s attention to them where possible during patrols.
5. At the end of shift you will submit a daily shift report to Area Manager, which must include all lapses noted, as well as all necessary observations made.
6. Ensure the disciplinary code of the company is adhered to and enforced.
7. During your shift you will correctly and fully complete the daily report sheet i.e. all required details.
8. During patrols of beats, you will;
9. Check the turnout of all subordinates
10. Check the state of the equipment issued to the beats and personnel.
11. Inspect, read and sign all occurrence books and reports
12. Prepare and update on a regular basis the schedule of guards under your supervision.
13.  Formally meet customers on a daily basis and document the outcome of your meeting.
14. Immediately respond to all client requests, incidents and complaints ensuring swift and professional follow up action are taken.
15.  Assess the risk of customers within your Area of Responsibilities (AOR) on a regular   basis and submit a formal report to your Area Manager.
16.  Advise the customer on security breaches and lapses.
17.  Ensure all the sites have the required guards as per the contract strength
18.  Ensure the right number relievers are available.
19.  Parade is a priority and must be enforced strictly at all locations.
20.  Properly scan the QR codes at respective sites for clear and accurate pictures.
21.  Keep scanning phones safe and neat.
22.  Record and report all occurrences on sites timely
23.  Keep safe infractions receipt books and apply sanctions strictly
24.  Keep all company cars and bikes safe and neat at all times
25.  Fill checklists every shift and report every anomaly observed
26.  All supervisors must check their device (phone) is ensure they have date, data is on and the app is always open.
27. Patrol supervisors must use the sanction receipt where appropriate.
28. Sanction receipts much tally with electronic sanctions on the device and attendance sheet.
29. Patrol supervisors must endeavor to solve problems of shortages, indiscipline, improper dressing and unprofessionalism.   
30. Any other duties that the company may deem fit
