Job Description

  • Job Location: Achimota-Accra
  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Expiry Date for Application: 19th April, 2024
  • Edit video footage, ensuring seamless transitions, audio synchronisation and visual continuity
  • Incorporate creative storytelling techniques, such as cuts, transitions, overlays and effects, to enhance video content and maintain viewer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives, vision and target audience, ensuring video content aligns with branch guidelines.
  • Review and select the best shots and sequences, trimming and rearranging footage as necessary to optimise the storytelling process.
  • Enhance video quality through colour correction, colour grading, adjusting lighting and audio levels.
  • Utilise video editing software and tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, final cut Pro or other relevant software to edit and enhance video content.
  • Stay updated with the lasts video editing techniques, software advancements and industry trends to continuously improve video quality and storytelling.
  • Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure cohesive and visually appealing video content.
  • Efficiently use video animations to generate quality video outputs.
  • Maintain organised video libraries and archives, managing and backing up videos for easy accessibility and retrieval.

Required Skills or Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design
  • Must have 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe creative suite (Premier Pro, After Effects)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail.
