Job Description

  • REPORTS TO: Head, Corporate Risk
  • REPORTS TO (BUSINESS):Senior Manager, Group Distribution 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute targeted prospecting strategies to identify prospective corporate clients.
  • Secure and conduct meetings with C-suite Executives, HR Directors and Benefits Managers and other key persons
  • Explain complex insurance concepts clearly to executives with varying levels of insurance knowledge
  • Perform a comprehensive Needs Analysis to understand client requirements
  • Present customized group life insurance solutions that align with client needs
  • Navigate and overcome objections through consultative selling approaches.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to policy inception
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes.
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM System.
  • Participate in industry networking events to build professional relationships.

Required Skills or Experience

EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study
  • At least 2+years of experience in financial services sales or insurance sales.
  • Proven track record of B2B sales success, preferably in financial products.
  • Experience in presenting and negotiating with senior executives.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits and group insurance products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM software.
