Position: Data Analyst Intern (1-Year Program)

• Location: Accra, Ghana
• Duration: 12 Months (Full-Time)
• Reports To: New Business Development and Monitoring & Evaluation Manager
• Start Date: 1^st June 2025

Program Overview

The Graduate Learning Internship Program is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in data analysis within the context of reproductive health programs. Interns will work closely with our Monitoring & Evaluation and New Business Development teams to support data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Management:
  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and managing datasets related to program activities.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support program monitoring and decision-making.
• AI Prompting & Automation:
  • Utilize AI tools (e.g., Deep Seek, ChatGPT) to develop prompts that automate data analysis tasks.
  • Explore innovative ways to integrate AI into data processing workflows.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills or Experience

• Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with AI prompting techniques and tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Bard).
• Analytical & Problem-Solving:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Communication & Teamwork:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
