Job Description Purpose The EdTech Specialist is a new role at Right To Play Ghana and will be one of the two specialists at Right To Play International. This is a fixed term role, that will support the successful delivery of the Ghana Play Acceleration Project; an 18-month project which aims to improve primary teachers’ capacities to use play-based learning across 15 districts to deliver the Ghana Standards-Based Curriculum through digital in-service teacher training. The EdTech Specialist will report directly to the Programme Director and will be responsible for the overall oversight and implementation of the project, providing support and guidance to teams in using RTP digitalised tools and systems in the project locations. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring the quality and effectiveness of the project delivery. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

f. Other Duties as Assigned (5%) Scope (geographical and/or functional), Impact and Autonomy The role has a national scope and involves strategic decision-making regarding EdTech implementation. The specialist exercises autonomy in designing and executing digital learning programs and makes recommendations for improving ICT integration in teacher training. Leadership and Staff management The EdTech Specialist provides advisory support to the community team and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with RTP’s digital learning strategy. While the role does not have direct reports, it influences key stakeholders and guides project staff to develop and refine digital teacher training strategies, implements new technologies to enhance play-based learning methodologies including identification and integration of emerging best practices in EdTech for teacher capacity building.
