Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC) is a well-established, African-based, research centre and one of three field research centres of the Research and Development Division of the Ghana Health Service. The work of KHRC has influences on health policy and practice throughout Ghana, Africa and the rest of the world. KHRC also offers research and training services nationally and internationally and its staffs are multidisciplinary. KHRC is located in the middle belt of Ghana.

Job Description

Qualified applicants are invited to apply to work as I.T Manager at Kintampo Health Research Centre, Kintampo North Municipality, Bono-East Region.

Duration: One (1) year (renewable)

Job Description

Role of IT Manager

To perform the day-to-day administration and maintenance of servers network systems and computer hardware.
To maintain and update technology infrastructure of the organization

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in the following areas;

BSc Computer Science
BSc. Information Technology

Years of experience

Should have completed your national service.

IT Manager

Good understanding of how to administer Microsoft Servers is required
Ability to diagnose and repair computer hardware is required
Practical knowledge of setting up Local and Wide area networks is required
Must have self-drive to research into better ways of improving network and computer systems
Certification in Network+ or CCNA is an added advantage
Understanding of how to set up VM wares is an advantage
