Job Description

An Oil Palm Processing Company in the Ashanti Region requires the services of a Mill Manager for immediate employment.

The position and the responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Make sure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed at the Mills.
Supervise Daily Processing at the Mills.
Supervise both Breakdown and Preventive Maintenance at the Mills.
Prepare Daily Production and Daily Breakdown Reports.

Make sure set targets are met. This will include targets in;

Quality of Palm Fruits received at the Mill.
Palm Fruits (FFB) milled per day/ week/ month.
Palm Oil Produced per day/week//month.
Palm Oil Extraction Ratio.

Supervise activities at the Weighbridge which includes:

Daily Palm Fruits (ffb) received at the Mills
Daily Palm Oil/Kernel Oil/Nuts sales at the Mill.
Write and Submit a Weekly/Monthly Summary report on the above to Mill Management.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

Skills or Experience

The successful applicant must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
And as well, 2 years professional work experience in a Palm Oil Processing Mill with at least a year’s recent experience in a similar role.
